Developing a secure, robust and user-friendly subscription-based grocery delivery website with delivery slot management was challenging for us. The solution was also integrated with alerts & notifications and ways to customize subscriptions.
To develop the website, our team used cutting-edge technologies like HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. We also leveraged open-source technologies like Bootstrap and jQuery to create a responsive and intuitive user interface.
To ensure a secure and robust website, we used secure coding practices to prevent any potential security vulnerabilities. We also used advanced encryption techniques to protect all sensitive data.
To manage delivery slots, we used advanced algorithms to ensure that the delivery slots are allocated to the customers in a fair and efficient manner. We also implemented an alert & notification system to keep the customers informed about their orders and deliveries.
Finally, we provided ways for the customers to customize their subscription plans, including the ability to add or remove items from the subscription, change the frequency of their orders, and apply discounts.
Overall, the development of this subscription-based grocery delivery website was a challenging but rewarding experience. Our team is proud of the end result, which has been well-received by the customers.
The client approached us with an ambitious idea to develop a subscription-based e-commerce website that would make grocery delivery to apartments seamless. A unified solution where residents of selected apartments can subscribe for day-to-day grocery items. We were asked to develop a secured and scalable infrastructure, we developed – Backend and E-commerce Website.
We designed infrastructure with the use of AWS services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS and Amazon CloudFront. We employed Amazon EC2 to provide the computing power, Amazon S3 to store the images, videos and other static content, Amazon RDS to store and manage the user data and application data and Amazon CloudFront to enable faster delivery of content.
In terms of development, we used PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the web development, MySQL for the database, and Apache for the web server. We also implemented various features such as user authentication, payment gateway integration, order management, and tracking.
Once the development was completed, we conducted several rounds of testing to ensure that the application was secure, resilient and efficient. We also designed a comprehensive monitoring system to identify any issues and errors.
The result was a fully functional e-commerce website with a secure and scalable infrastructure that allowed customers to subscribe to grocery delivery services.

Our role was centred around converting the idea into a scalable solution. We looked over every stage of the Grocery Ecommerce Website development project – Designing of the Website, Development of the Ecommerce Functionality, Admin Dashboard, Infrastructure.
The design guideline was set with the intent to make day–to–day grocery items more accessible to selected apartment residents. The user–friendliness of the app was our top priority. We wanted to make it as easy as possible to access all the information one would need when shopping for groceries. After extensive research, we found that grocery items are typically searched for by category, so we made sure to include a category button to help users find items quicker. We also included a favourites button to make it easy for users to access the groceries they buy most often. The app is designed to be as user-friendly as possible.
