Shopify Developer
Job Brief
We are looking for a Shopify developer to set up and customize Shopify stores, and API integrations, execute both front-end and back-end improvements, plugin developments, store maintenance and quickly resolve store performance issues.
This individual should be a self-starter, and up-to-date with the latest Shopify trends/apps. The developer will work closely with the in-house designer to execute tasks.
Responsibilities
- Building custom Shopify themes and also modifying existing themes depending on requirements
- Designing and developing the layout of e-commerce websites
- Developing new Shopify app for enhancing the capabilities of programs
- Developing existing Shopify apps by analysing and identifying areas for modification
- API development/Integration, integration of Payment Gateways, custom module development
- Quick development of POC/MVP for new plugins
- Migrating websites from other e-commerce platforms to Shopify based on the business requirements
Requirements
- You have experienced in PHP/MYSQL with OOPS concept
- You have at least 1 year in a Software Engineer or similar role.
- You are proficient in PHP, Jquery, HTML5, CSS3 and Java Script
- You have experience with Code Versioning tools (GIT) and Debugging Tools
- You have experience on Shopify frontend and backend development as well as liquid and apps development
- You have working experience in e-commerce domain
- You have working Experience on the Shopify Platform along with exposure towards application development
- You have strong hands-on experience on installing and customisation of new Shopify themes
